The 12th hole is visually exciting. Five sand bunkers guard the green. The green side bunkers are known asdecep’on bunkers, appearing to the golfer as being next to the green, but in reality sit over 40 yards from the green. A mid-iron layup is the best choice from the tee except for long hitters. A second shot to the fairway will leave an approach shot across the bunkers in front of the green.
