Tips For Playing Hole #8 Par 3

The eighth hole is a long par 3 (230 yards) from the back tees. The green is surrounded by three ponds and six sand bunkers. To make par is rare and a birdie is something to brag to your friends about. The hole is visually exciting. Carry the rough! Short of the green in the mowed area leaves a chance to get up and down. Avoid bunkers left, right and long. The fairway area in front of the green may still leave a chance to get up and down.
